Salford Lads Club - Main Hall
Just come back from a site visit at Salford Lads Club which will be the venue for the final performance for the “Dirty Old Town’ project as part of the 6th Salford Film Festival on the 22nd of November 2009 (7pm provisionally) he building is probably best known for it’s association with The Smiths 
(See video) but more importantly than that it has been a hub of the community for over 100 years and still is to this day. The place drips with history and the dedication and energy of those working there is evident to all.
Not only were we made to feel very welcome but there is a genuine interest in what we were doing.
